Yizhan Wang
PhD Researcher
Spintronics and Magnetic Sensors
Yizhan Wang obtained his PhD in Physics from the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, in 2024. His doctoral research focused on spincaloritronics, magnonics, spin-dependent thermoelectric effects, and spin and magnon transport phenomena. His doctoral and collaborative research led to 23 publications in journals including Phys. Rev. Lett., Adv. Mater., Phys. Rev. Appl.. His PhD thesis was selected as an Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
He then joined INESC MN as a researcher, where his work focuses on the development of TMR sensors for industrial applications, including MTJ material and stack development, physical modelling of TMR sensors, and simulation of sensor performance.
