The INESC Winter Meeting 2026 took place in Coimbra on 28–29 January, bringing together policymakers, research leaders and institutional representatives to discuss the future of FP10 and the European Competitiveness Fund.

Organised by the INESC Brussels HUB, this year’s edition also marked the 40th anniversary of INESC Coimbra.

A key highlight was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the INESC institutes and the Joint Research Centre (European Commission), reinforcing collaboration in science-for-policy, innovation and research infrastructures.
