INESC MN participated in Biosensors 2025, held in Lisbon from 19–22 May. This leading international conference in the field of biosensing technologies has been held annually for over 30 years, bringing together scientists, engineers, and industry experts to catalyse innovation in the development and application of biosensors. These technologies harness the recognition power of biological systems, integrated with physicochemical transducers, to deliver effective diagnostic tools aimed at improving health, wellbeing, and the environment.
The conference program included daily plenary lectures, rigorously selected oral presentations, and dynamic poster sessions. This year’s themes ranged from wearable biosensors and AI integration to synthetic biology, microfluidics, and CRISPR-based technologies. INESC MN contributed to the scientific program with two posters and one oral presentation.
