INESC MN participated in the Workshop on Advanced Characterization and Technology Services for Semiconductor Industries and Quantum Technologies, held on 11 June 2026 in Barcelona, Spain, at the ALBA Synchrotron.

The workshop brought together research and technology infrastructures, scientists, and industry stakeholders from across the European semiconductor and quantum technology ecosystems. The program featured technical presentations, company pitches, an exhibition area with participation from research and technology organizations, as well as guided facility tours, fostering interaction and strengthening collaboration within the community.

INESC MN was represented at the event by Rita Macedo and Vasco Nunes, participating in discussions on advanced characterization techniques and their relevance for innovation in semiconductor technologies.

The workshop provided a valuable opportunity to engage with key actors in the field and to further strengthen connections within the European research and innovation landscape.
