On September 26, 2025, INESC MN took part in the European Researchers’ Night (NEI 2025), held at MUHNAC (Museu Nacional de História Natural e da Ciência) in Lisbon under the motto “Science for Global Challenges”.

Our activity, “How Can We See What Our Eyes Cannot?”, invited visitors to discover different types of radiation, how they are detected, and the science behind radiation sensors.

Together with other research units from Instituto Superior Técnico, INESC MN joined this initiative to bring science closer to society, inspire young people, and show how scientific careers contribute to solving global challenges.
