Professor Susana Freitas, from the Department of Physics at Instituto Superior Técnico and a researcher at INESC MN, has been elected a corresponding member of the Lisbon Academy of Sciences, joining the 2nd Section – Physics. Her election, alongside several other Técnico professors, highlights her significant scientific contributions and reflects the continued recognition of Técnico’s academic excellence in one of Portugal’s most prestigious scientific institutions. As a corresponding member, Professor Freitas will support the Academy’s mission to foster scientific research and promote national culture.
