Our collaborator Vania Silverio will be at Envision Biomed – EMBS Chapter of Aveiro University – Student Branch Chapter, organized by the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS UA) from Portugal. She will put forward “Organ on Chip engineering – what’s next ? ” going through the engineering challenges behind the development of organ on chip devices and platforms and discuss opportunities of this innovative approach.

EMBS UA is a non-profit association founded with the purpose of addressing gaps in the national panorama of Biomedical Engineering and healthcare in general, with representation from various engineering disciplines. It supports students fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and knowledge in diverse topics.
