Susana Freitas delivered her inaugural lecture at the Academy of Sciences of Lisbon on 5 February, marking her first official communication since being elected a Corresponding Member of the Academy last year.

The lecture, entitled “Thin Films and Magnetic Sensors Applied to Tactile Sensors”, was presented during her first session at the Academy and highlighted her research work in the field of magnetic materials and sensor technologies.

This moment represents an important milestone in her academic career and her involvement with the Academy of Sciences of Lisbon.
