The project “Scalable Stochastic Neuro-Inspired Computing with Spintronics” has been selected for funding under the MIT Portugal Program 2025 Seed Grants in the Chips/Nanotechnology area.
Led by Prof. Susana Cardoso de Freitas (INESC MN & Instituto Superior Técnico) in collaboration with Prof. Luqiao Liu (MIT), the project will explore neuromorphic computing systems using stochastic spintronic devices, aiming to advance research in energy-efficient brain-inspired computing architectures.
This selection reflects INESC MN’s ongoing contribution to cutting-edge research through the MIT Portugal Program.
